CALVERT

Calvert School has been a part of Cochabamba's history for 70 years. Founded in 1954 by Elenour Paul and a group of parents, the school was born with the purpose of offering a bilingual education based on the North American system and the Calvert method, with the goal of educating citizens for an increasingly globalized world.
In 1970, the school decided to move from its original location in Queruqueru to a larger site in the Pacata area, where it opened its doors to the new campus in 1971.
In 1967, the Bolivian Ministry of Education officially recognized Calvert School as an educational institution. Beginning in 2000, the school integrated the Bolivian and American curricula, allowing its students to simultaneously earn a Bolivian bachelor's degree and an American diploma. This dual degree, supported by Cognia accreditation, gives Calvert students a competitive advantage both in Bolivia and abroad, facilitating their access to universities and career opportunities worldwide.
