Director's message

Welcome to Cochabamba Cooperative School (CCS).

At CCS, we believe that education is about much more than academic achievement. It is about helping young people become curious thinkers, capable learners, responsible citizens of the world, and ethical leaders.

Our school brings together the strengths of an international, English-language education with the culture of Bolivia, community, and values that make CCS unique. We are proud of our academic programs and opportunities, but what defines our school most is the community behind them: our students, families, teachers, staff, alumni, and friends who have built CCS over generations.

Education is also changing rapidly. Technology, artificial intelligence, and an increasingly connected world are transforming what our students need to know and, perhaps more importantly, what they need to be able to do. Our responsibility is not simply to prepare students for the next grade level or the next exam. It is to prepare them to think independently, communicate effectively, solve problems, adapt to change, collaborate with others, and continue learning throughout their lives.

This means maintaining high expectations while recognizing that every student is different. It means providing structure while encouraging independence. It means respecting the traditions that have made CCS successful while remaining willing to innovate and improve.

Above all, we want CCS to be a place where students are known, challenged, supported, and given opportunities to discover what they are capable of achieving.

As Director, I am grateful for the trust our families place in us every day. Education works best as a partnership between school and home, and I invite our entire community to participate actively in that partnership—to ask questions, share ideas, celebrate successes, and help us continue building an even stronger school.

Welcome to CCS.
